Attend National Leadership Forum 2024
Applications are now open for the National Leadership Forum, which will be held in Canberra from the 22nd-25th August 2024.
Most of National Leadership Forum delegates come from a diverse and renowned nomination network which includes universities, cultural groups, community leaders and professional sporting organisations. Each year, we open a select amount of delegate positions for driven individuals who may or may not have the opportunity to be nominated. This means that there is the fair and equal opportunity for everyone to be considered to attend National Leadership Forum.
The Forum, which is in its 22nd year, brings together about 200 motivated young adults from across the country and the Pacific region. It is an opportunity for Members of Parliament, as well as other prominent leaders in Australia, to engage with you to develop your potential, based on a model of servant leadership. Our vision is for the National Leadership Forum to equip young people with a strong foundation of values, compassion and connection as a platform to lead selflessly and courageously. We are confident that you will find this a rewarding and inspiring experience.
The Forum is a unique opportunity for you to connect with both current and future Australian leaders, in a program that includes engagement with national politicians and corporate leaders, who will share their stories and what drives their commitment to serve. These high-profile addresses are interwoven with peer group sessions, which focus on reflection to refine your own leadership values.
It is important for you to know that the National Leadership Forum is not a political initiative. The Parliamentary Hosts come from all sides of politics and are united by a common cause to serve the people of Australia, underpinned by a shared belief that young people like yourself hold our country’s future in your hands. We hope the Forum instills in you the confidence that you can make a difference in this world through serving others.
